Double-Sided Scrim with High Tack Adhesive H666

Description:  A double sided tape consisting of a special, hand-tearable polyester scrim coated on both sides with an aggressive, high shear synthetic rubber adhesive. It is lined with a honey coloured impregnated release paper.

Application: For a wide variety of bonding applications where high adhesion is required especially to difficult surfaces such as foams, PE and PP films. Suitable for porous and rough or uneven surfaces such as embossed plastics and metals. Excellent gasketing material for industrial and domestic uses such as weather strips for windows and doors. Excellent for bonding fabrics and materials to MDF and profiles in the curtain/blind trade (if not directly exposed to UV).

Technical Details:

Surface Preparation: The surface on which the tape is to be used must be clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Remember that pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with the maximum possible pressure in order to achieve maximum adhesion levels. The recommended application temperature is between 15ºC and 25ºC.

Storage:  Tapes stored below the minimum application temperature will require warming up to that level before use. Up to 24 hours may be required for this to take place.
