Description: A double sided tape that has weather resistance and waterproofing adhesive with non-woven polyester cloth carrier. The adhesive will not be affected in a wide range of weather condition by a special kind of butyl rubber adhesive. Fire or poison is avoidable in badly ventilated place areas because K5929 contains no organic solvent. It has a non-woven PET cloth directional backing material, allowing the tape possible to be cut easily by hand.
Application: It has an ideal property for temporary fixing and joint sealing of building materials, and fixing of flooring materials at all times of the year. K5929 has thick adhesive layer, it conforms rough surface as joint part of building material where a long term waterproofing is required. It adheres on rubber, foam, and polyethylene materials that are not easy to be stuck to.

Surface Preparation: The surface on which the tape is to be used must be clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Remember that pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with the maximum possible pressure in order to achieve maximum adhesion levels. The recommended application temperature is between 15ºC and 25ºC.
Storage: Tapes stored below the minimum application temperature will require warming up to that level before use. Up to 24 hours may be required for this to take place.
